Live & Max for Live
Taught by Aram Shelton
Saturday March 27th
Workshop, 11am-6pm
Open Mic Performance, 7-8pm
  MAX for LIVE

This workshop will serve as both an introduction to and build on participant's knowledge of Ableton Live and Max/MSP through demonstrations, question-and-answer, and troubleshooting. Previous knowledge of Max/MSP is not necessary; patcher building inside of Max will be explored, as well as integration between Max & Live.

Participants will be invited to explore new ways of engaging their creative process by taking part in an “open mic” session at the conclusion of the workshop. This last hour of workshop is reserved for participants who would like to perform their music and share with the other participants the way they use LIVE. Participants interested in the Open Mic Performance will need to sign up at the beginning of the day. The Open Mic will be limited to one hour of performance maximum: 5 participants with a 10 minute slot.
